Zero
ゼロ
Zero is a powerful marionette prototype who emerged from the tomb of Face. She is equipped with the Z-circuit that allows her to assimilate with other marionettes. Zero has two tube-shaped manipulators that extend out from the back of her head that are used to control the body of the marionette she assimilates with. Basically, the other marionette becomes a “shell” for her, and she transforms the host maiden circuit into a “Z-circuit”. This fusion releases Zero’s full power making her a very formidable fighting marionette.
Kitajima
キタジマ
Kitajima is the daughter of Professor Kitajima who disappeared while searching for the tomb of Face. She is continuing the work her late father that was left unfinished, to search for the “Inheritance of Face” which was thought to solve the maiden circuit problem that causes rogue marionettes to go berserk. When she was young, she was involved in an incident with a rogue marionette that left her gravely injured. Part of her brain which is responsible for human emotions was damaged and a simple maiden circuit chip was installed to help her brain function normally, most of her body was replaced with artificial limbs which basically makes her a cyborg. Her cybernetic parts are designed after Bloodberry’s mechanism making her a capable hand to hand fighter. She later fuses with Zero to defeat Omega who fused with Kuuni.
Kuuni
クーニ
Kuuni is a female-type multipurpose marionette who serves as Kitajima’s assistant. She has a malfunctioning maiden circuit which stunted her mental growth, although she looks older, her mental capacity is the same as a 5 year old. Zero fuses with her to unleash her full powers to deal with attacking rogue marionettes.
Stinger
スティンガー
Stinger is the only male protagonist in this series. He was originally a mercenary who now works as a bodyguard for Kitajima. He once suffered a life-threatening injury and was saved by Professor Kitajima by giving him a cyborg operation. Stinger decided to work for Professor Kitajima’s daughter to show his gratitude for saving his life and is now helping her to fulfill her dream of finishing her father’s work. He has a cannon built in his arm.
Omega (Ω)
オメガ (Ω)
Omega is a marionette similar to Zero, she is also equipped with the Z-circuit, she calls herself as Zero’s younger twin sister. But she is a rogue marionette herself, she was sealed away by Copy Face. She was later released by Copy Face to defeat Zero. Omega assimilated with multiple rogue marionettes and their remnants to attack Zero. She later recreated Kuuni to defeat the weakened Zero.

The copy dolls are created by Copy Face using the data of the original Sexadolls. They arbitrarily guard Face’s tomb without command and attacks any intruders. They were the ones who attacked Kitajima’s group right before they met Zero. They are basically defective copies, although their personalities remain the same and they still pledge loyalty to Face, but they are not aware that they are copies, nor the fact that they are rogue marionettes themselves, they strongly believe they are the originals. These copies were created by Copy Face as an experiment for the “Face System”. They were deemed failures and were abandoned.
Copy Face

A male-type marionette that was being run by the computer on the far end of Face’s tomb. He looks just like the original Star Face. His consciousness was copied from the scientific thinking and personality of Star Face. He hopes to surpass the “Lorelei System” that existed in the past with the “Face System” developed by the original Face.
Pile / Scissor / Hammer
パイル / シザー / ハマー
The three marionettes sent by Copy Face to attack Kitajima’s group. Pile can also merge with other marionettes.
Lime
ライム
She was sleeping along with Junior beneath the Romana palace. She was stolen 4 years prior to the current SMZ story. She was split in to 2 parts, Zero and Omega.
Bloodberry
ブラッドベリー
She was also sleeping beneath the Romana palace with Junior and was revived by the people investigating Lime’s disappearance to retrieve Lime.
Ghost of Villey Junior
ヴィレイ・ジュニア
He didn’t actually appeared in the manga as he was dead for 300 years. His ghost, rather his memory calls out to Lime during the time she was split to Zero and Omega.
